The Importance of Information in a Modern World
Life without television, lack of connection to daily events, lack of awareness of decisions made by governing systems. Our world without certain information circulating our globe would not be possible today. For many of us, this may seem ridiculous, but the chaos caused by the lack of access to news would change our markets, our world, and consequently, our lives beyond recognition. Much of the news that reaches us in daily news blocks or newspapers does not significantly impact us, but there are moments when it turns out, as was the case with the economic crisis, that it reaches many countries like a domino effect. Disruptions in financial strategies, diversification of stock market activities, rising global oil prices affect each of us very seriously. The news that reaches us serves to prepare us in some way for what may happen next, regardless of whether we are aware of it or not. Do we constantly follow the events presented to us, or do we remain deaf to the news?
